We will leave 8th Street at 10:00 am Friday morning & travel to Carrollton for the
state meet. We will stop somewhere on the way & eat lunch. Bring money for
lunch & dinner. Cross Country will pay for your lunch on Sat. On Saturday after
the race, Coach O’Brien will be driving the bus back to Tifton & will drop me off
at Callaway Gardens to run in a 10k that afternoon. We will stop at Olive
Garden in Newnan probably on the way. You need to bring $20 to help defray
the cost of the hotel. We are staying at the Hampton Inn on Friday night in
Carrollton. The number is 1-770-838-7722.
Varsity boys run 1st at 8:30 am & girls at 9:00 am.
We have had a great season! Thanks for all your hard work. Please turn in your
uniforms to me in a bag with your name on it. Keep running!

P.S. There is a $5 charge per person for parents & others that come. That is a

Directions to Carrollton (these are from Google maps):
- I-75 N to I-475 N…after 15.8 miles merge onto I-75 N for 68 miles.
- Take exit 247 to merge onto I-20 W toward Birmingham. (38.4 miles)
- Take exit 19 for GA-113 toward Temple/Carrollton (.4 miles)
- Turn left at Carrollton St/GA-113 S; continue on GA-113 S (9.5 miles)
- Turn left at N Park St (2.3 miles)
- Turn right at Clinic Ave/Trojan Dr (.2 miles); destination on left
