Important Info
- Region 1-AAAAA Championships, Thursday, October 27, Valdosta: This year's
region meet will be held at Freedom Park Softball Complex in Valdosta, GA.
This is a must-see event -- Senior Hunter Honeycutt is going for his fourth
consecutive region championship!! Directions can be found here on or page 17 of
the handbook. Students will be NI after second block (approximately 11:20 am).
They will meet at Subway in front of the mall for a team meal and depart at
approximately 1:00 pm from ESMS. Race start times are as
follows:
- 4:00 pm - JV Race
- 4:45 pm - Varsity Girls
- 5:30 pm - Varsity Boys

Please congratulate these athletes. They have worked extremely hard this
season! Coach Mullen had to make very difficult decisions about the region race
since only seven runners can compete on the varsity level.
- Middle School State Championships, October 22, Cochran: The season is
be over, but keep training for next year!
- Coach Wood Invitational, October 15, Gainesville: The varsity runners traveled
above the gnat line last weekend & faced stiff competition! Results from all of
this
season's
meets
can be accessed through
the "Schedule"
(results from past
seasons are in the "Archive").
- Varsity Region Spirit Bags: Donations are also being collected for varsity
region spirit bags, and high school families are asked to contribute either one
or two motivational items for each bag (please send enough for 25 bags).
Donations need to be turned in to Coach Honeycutt @ ESMS by Tuesday,
October 25th.
- Banquet, November 1, 7:00 pm, TCHS Commons: Athletes eat free, and all
additional family members are $5.00 each. RSVP to Tammy King no later than
Friday, October 28.
